Terrace of 5 houses. 1899. By Jonathan Simpson. Brick with stone dressings, roughcast 1st floor, tile roof, gambrel to 1st and 4th bays. 2 storeys, 5 bays. 5th bay has jettied gabled 1st floor. Deep eaves to 1st and 4th bays. Windows have small-paned casements, most of 4-lights. Ground floor has canted bay windows, the flat roofs of those to 2nd and 3rd bays extended over paired entrances; end bays have rectangular bay windows. 1st foor has 3-light flat-topped dormers to 1st and 3rd bays; end bay has Art Nouveau-style pargetted panel below window. Entrances have doors with small-paned lights and strap hinges. 3 cross-axial stacks; lateral stack to 3rd bay has stone base and weathering. Rear similar, plaster 1st floor, half-dormers.
