Pair of houses. 1898. By Jonathan Simpson. Brick with stone dressings, plaster and timber-framed 1st floor, tile roof. One storey with attic, 2 bays, 1st floor jettied on decorated bressumers, centre and half dormers timber-framed. Ground floor has projecting 4-light single-chamfered- mullioned windows with transoms and leaded glazing. 1st floor gabled half dormers have 4-light small-paned casements. Entrance to 1st bay in recess with timber post, decorated lintel and half-glazed door with small-paned light. Cross-axial and gable-end stacks. Left return has single lights, with stone lintels, timber-framed gable with central diapering and jettied timber-framed apex. Right return has canopies to entrances. Rear similar, 2 gabled half- dormers and privies.
